This symposium aims to bring researchers around the concept of education in Interior Architecture within the context of;

- the Production, Transformation, Transition and Implementation of Knowledge in Design Education within approaches from Bauhaus to Today;

-Energy and Waste Management

-and 1/1 Scale Practice/s in Design Education concerning Contemporary Practices of Bauhaus Education System.

Our Plenary Speakers from Germany, Italy and Turkey;

Prof. Dr. Max Welch Guerra, Prof. Dr. Ario Ceccotti, Assoc. Prof. Claudio Gambardella, Assist. Prof. Markus Wilsing, Architect Levent Çırpıcı, Assist. Prof. Dr. Moira Valeri and Designer Atilla Kuzu gave us a remarkable synergy and reflection of their energy; by the way built an effective motivation to our students.

On behalf of the Organization Committee; I would like to express my grateful feelings for their valuable support and collaborative acts.

Our speakers as valuable contributors with their informative paper presentations, shared both scientific and artistic approaches. These unique researches brought this synergy in wider aspect.

We appreciate their encouraging cooperation. This cooperation for us is not only valid for this event but also will be sustained with other mature scientific organizations.

In workshops; students with the executive experts from their own professions; developed their practice abilities on behalf of Symposium themes. The products composed in the end of the workshops are presented in the exhibition in the end of the Symposium.

I would like to thank to all the Organization Committee Members for their cordial and kind efforts in realizing this event and hope that this would be a step for other events regarding constructive acts and bringing benefit to education.
