Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design at the Faculty of Fine Arts, operational since the 1985/1986 academic year, offers a comprehensive four-year undergraduate program. Instruction is conducted in Turkish, and students are not required to pass a foreign language proficiency exam upon admission. The program aims to cultivate skilled interior architects capable of merging scientific and artistic principles to create functional and aesthetically appealing designs. These designs are expected to contribute to societal awareness of interior design in Turkey by proposing contemporary and innovative solutions.
The curriculum emphasizes the practical application of theoretical knowledge, mandating internships during the 5th and 7th semesters to foster skill development and enhance professional competencies.
