Introduction

The primary objective of the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design is to cultivate proficient interior architects. These professionals should possess the capability not only to devise designs that harmoniously integrate form and function through scientific and artistic methodologies but also to systematize these designs by formulating contemporary and innovative solutions. Such endeavors aim to enhance societal awareness regarding interior design within the country.

Our activities span across undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. levels. Furthermore, organized exhibitions afford students the chance to display their work to others and engage in an exchange of ideas. Strong connections are fostered with equivalent educational institutions and relevant professional groups. Through exhibitions, meetings, and scientific conferences, a reciprocal flow of information and experience is maintained. The importance of education and social relations, particularly in the context of European Union integration, is emphasized at the departmental level.

Students utilize modern facilities and computer-aided programs for their projects. The department houses four design studios, one computer laboratory, one seminar room, and dedicated drawing and modeling studios. An exhibition room, located in the main entrance hall, offers students a venue for conducting workshops and performances related to their fields. In terms of social interaction, the cafeteria and seminar room not only meet all student needs but also provide a space for interaction with peers from different departments.

Graduates of the Department of Interior Architecture have extensive job prospects in both the public and private sectors. They may find employment in various production enterprises, such as design offices, ateliers, and factories, or opt to work in their own offices.
